A great way for you to support your local Labour Party whilst having a bit of fun!

As part of our efforts to raise money to fight the next General Election and re-elect our superb MP Fleur Anderson we are please to announce the launch of Putney Prizes.

Here’s how it works…

To enter the lottery, download complete and  the attached sign-up form and standing order mandate for £10 per month donation to Putney Constituency Labour Party.   (One donation per person/bank account).

Your monthly £10 contribution buys you one entry into the Putney Prizes monthly draw.

Putney Prizes is a Small Society Lottery, registered with Wandsworth Council, and participants must be over 16yrs old. In order to be eligible for the draw for a particular month, payment must be received no later than the 28th of the Month preceding the draw, i.e. for the February 2023 prize draw, the £10 monthly contribution must be received no later than 28th January 2023. 

The draw will take place at the General Committee meeting each month, except in August and December when the draw will take place at an appropriate event. The Executive Committee is responsible for the proper conduct of the draw. 

If you win a prize in the lottery, this will be deposited in the bank account that you provide us details of, and your name will be publicised to the membership through our various communications.    

The total prize money awarded will be 50% of the combined contributions taken that month up to a total of £500. The remaining money goes directly to Putney CLP to help fund the party’s various administrative and campaigning costs. 

The prize money will be split between multiple cash prizes to ensure that each participant retains a reasonable chance of winning each year, as the example below shows:

Scenario 1 (20 Participants): Prize pool of £100 to be split into 1 x £50 and 2 x £25 prizes – 3 prizes, 1 in 7 chance of winning.

Scenario 2 (50 Participants): Prize pool of £250 to be split into 1 x £100, 2 x £50 and 2 x £25 prizes – 5 prizes , 1 in 10 chance of winning.
